Event rental and services provider Classic Party Rentals has announced the appointment of Brent Mumford as Chief Executive Officer.
“Brent’s leadership, operational expertise and track record of growing revenues will position the company for a strong future,” says Jason Scheir, chairman of the board.
Mumford brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in sales, operations and P&L management with significant knowledge of rental business models. He most recently served as vice president and general manager for Sullair. Previously, he served as CEO of Hi-Way Equipment Company, and he worked at NES Rentals, where he held multiple leadership roles. Prior to his business career, Mumford was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army, serving as a maintenance and logistics officer.
In addition, Classic has named five new hires in operations and technology. Arun Kumar has been appointed as executive vice president of operations. Reporting to him will be Joseph Pennell, who joins the company as vice president of supply chain. Also reporting to Kumar will be Patrick Domingue, director of program management. Glen Kinum joins as director of transportation, and Shree Khare was named chief information officer.
