Inglewood, Calif.-based Classic Party Rentals, the event rental and service provider with 25 locations across the U.S., has signed a six-year exclusive deal with the PGA of America to provide all flooring, tenting, and furnishings for its championship golf events through 2020.
In a press release announcing the agreement, Classic said it plans to invest more than $3million in new inventory to meet the specific needs of the PGA of America for its major championships as part of the multi-million dollar agreement.
“The exclusive nature is consistent with our strategy to keep developing partnerships so we become more than vendors, [we are] partners with our clients,” said Brent Mumford, CEO of Classic Party Rentals. “Classic has always had a great working relationship with the PGA of America but it’s exciting to see our relationship grow with one of the most distinguished sports organizations in the country.”
The upcoming PGA of America major championships include: the 2015 PGA Championship Aug. 10–16 at Whistling Straits G.C. in Kohler, Wis.; the 2016 PGA Championship July 25–31 at Baltusrol G.C. in Springfield, N.J.; and the 2016 Ryder Cup Sept.27–Oct. 2 at Hazeltine National G.C. in Chaska, Minn.
