Pantone names 2011 color of the year

Pantone has named 18-2120 honeysuckle the Pantone Color of the Year for 2011. Appropriate for year-round occasions, the vibrant reddish pink hue has an uplifting, energizing effect. The choice reflects an optimistic outlook for 2011, and serves as a contrast to 2010’s choice, turquoise.
