An interactive forum will offer apparel and textile manufacturers the opportunity to ask military officials from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Army about specific military needs and how the textile industry might be able to meet those needs. The meeting, sponsored by the Textile Industry Coalition on Government Procurement, National Council of Textile Organizations, US Industrial Fabrics Institute and National Textile Association, will take place from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 24 in conjunction with IFAI Expo 2009.
