Marquee Event Group relocates

Marquee Event Group, Austin, Texas, is relocating to a 73,000-square-foot facility seven miles north of their current location. The larger building will accommodate the growing company’s 82 employees with a new showroom and warehouse. The company credits Austin’s stable event market for its success, citing numerous rentals for food and wine festivals in the spring and minimal reductions in quantity of tents rented for annual events. The number of rentals for weddings did decrease this summer, the company states, but fall wedding rentals are on the rise. The upcoming football season and fundraising events are also expected to keep business steady.
