The Mobile Defender – Model S is a small device that employers can give to employees to use as a panic button during their shifts. It fits in a pocket or can be worn on a lanyard. When the SOS button is pressed, the tiny device functions as a two-way speakerphone so security can hear what is happening at the employee’s location and communicate back if appropriate. The device sends a GPS location alert, and it also has built-in fall detection so if an employee is tackled or falls, an SOS alert would be immediately issued without the employee pressing anything.
