HEYtex USA announces two new hires

HEYtex USA, a Pulaski, Va.-based subsidiary of HEYtex Group, has hired Eric Woodie as purchasing and logistics manager and Carol Stevenson as Northeast sales manager.

Woodie served nine years in the Marines before pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Entering the workforce, he gained a position in materials purchasing management, logistics and strategic sourcing including transferring offshore materials to U.S. suppliers. Woodie is well versed in materials key performance indicators and was lead for materials and scheduling implementation on the SAP system.

Stevenson is an enthusiastic and innovative professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing and building relationships. She is a Boston, Mass., native and attended Emerson College. Stevenson is involved in community service and has worked with Habitat for Humanity, Cradles to Crayons and sits on the board of directors for a local sports association.

Based in Bramsche, Germany, HEYtex Group develops and supplies coated and laminated technical textiles worldwide for many applications including tents and signage.
