Berlin, Germany-based ZENDOME GmbH, manufacturer of geodesic event architecture, has established the 360° Lab, a network of companies exploring potential applications for immersive technology. Open workshops in February and March are addressing the possibilities for content, from gaming to marketing to medical applications, as well as the issues of software/production (recording technology, visual effects, 360-degree sound systems) and hardware/distribution (playback technology, event spaces). A two-day event in April will present forum results and the next developments to a wider audience.
