IFAI Canada establishes John Lee Outstanding Achievement Award

IFAI Canada has honored John Lee, founder of J J L Events and long-standing IFAI member who passed away in October 2016, with a new award inspired by his legacy of service, dedication to IFAI and his willingness to share and give back.

A pioneer in the fabric and tension structure industry for more than five decades, Lee is the first recipient of the award, presented at the 2018 IFAI Canada Expo in February. Lee’s outstanding work and accomplishments greatly benefited the industrial fabrics industry. The award will recognize professionals who continue his legacy of contribution and influence in the growth, direction and success of the industry.
