Selecting consistent, uniform tents

News | | By:

Tents can make a festival shine—so long as there’s consistency and uniformity. “We encourage clients to select tents all in the same style and from the same company,” says Howard Tabackman of Choura Events. “There are some events where organizers tell vendors or sponsors they can bring their own tent, but you end up with a festival that isn’t uniform, doesn’t look very good and is potentially not installed safely.”

Made in the Shade Tent Rentals, for one, likes to use bright white festival-style tents for festivals and fairs. “They are perfect for the look of smaller clustered tents,” says Donny Vasquez. “The flags can be switched out to add color as well.” Case in point: The company covered the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce Business Fair along the river, for which 60 vendors’ tents aligned to create a sophisticated look. “Visually it was a success,” Vasquez notes.
