Think TRD Boot Camps are just for those who do tent installations? Anyone in the tent industry can benefit from attending! It’s a great way to get hands-on experience and knowledge about the products being sold and installed. Join us on Thursday, Mar. 7 for the TRD Boot Camp in Chattanooga, TN.

Pre-Boot Camp Activities

Tuesday, Mar. 6, 2024

2 pm | Certified Forklift Training (OPTIONAL: add-on fee)

TRD has partnered with ARA to offer comprehensive forklift training. Stay current and learn how to comply with ANSI B56 standards and OSHA requirements by participating in this program. Begin with the online classroom training and testing via a web-based platform. The online portion typically takes around 4 hours to complete and must be finished 48 hours prior to the hands-on training. The final step in certification involves an onsite practical hands-on examination. Upon successful completion of this hands-on training segment, Certified Forklift Operators will receive an operator card certifying their status, including being able to operate Class 1-5 forklifts as well as Class 7.

7 pm | Pre-Boot Camp Networking Reception (included in Boot Camp registration)

For those who come in the night before the full-day education event, there will be a hosted networking reception (apps and drinks included) at Chattanooga Tent & Event Solutions. This will give installers a chance to interact with fellow installers and vendors, along with knowledgeable TRD members who will be leading the boot camp the following day.
