Shelter Structures America opens new distribution center

Shelter Structures America, Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., is expanding its national footprint by adding its third distribution facility. The new location outside of Roanoke, Va., comes months after Shelter’s announced it had purchased a new distribution center in Chicago.

“Shelter Structures America is committed to expanding its operational footprint across the U.S. to provide an optimized network of distribution facilities for our clients,” said Keith Krzeminski, Shelter’s executive vice president.

“Having local inventory in Virginia allows us to better support our East Coast clients,” said Robert Kraak, president, Shelter Structures. “We recently received our first shipment of five containers loaded with M-Series and G-Series temporary structures that are now available for purchase.”

The primary focus of the Virginia facility is to house structure inventory available for immediate purchase. This model offers an option for clients needing temporary clearspan structures right away. The company also will continue providing custom order options on clearspan structures.
