Accel Event Rentals introduces new large structure to Hawaii

Accel Event Rentals, Aiea, Hawaii, and its partner Koa Capital Partners LLC have completed a major capital investment, bringing one of the largest tent structures ever to the islands.

The Losberger De Boer structure will accommodate up to 2,340 guests under a flexible configuration of up to 25,000 square feet. The $500,000 system is only the second tent of its size to be available in the islands and the first in two decades, according to a press release from Accel.

“We’re excited to expand our business line into the large tent space,” says Accel president and CEO Scott Rabe. “Until now, there was only one Hawaii tent company operating in this space, so this represents a unique opportunity for clients to have a new, highest-quality choice when it comes to tent rental for their large-scale events.

“Losberger is considered the Lamborghini of the tent world,” Rabe continues. “Having this tenting system on island now gives destination management companies serving the Hawaii visitor industry, not to mention local corporate or social groups, the ability to design a world-class tented event in multiple venues inside an impressive and safe structure.”

The structure is Accel’s fourth major expenditure of growth capital since its partnership with Koa Capital Partners LLC was announced in September 2017. It follows Accel’s November 2017 investment of more than $250,000 in high quality equipment and the addition of a new premium line of rental items, as well as the acquisition of event rental companies in Waipahu and on Maui, both in June 2018.
