PEAK Event Services names Brian Bacica as chief executive officer

PEAK Event Services, Boston, Mass., has named Brian D. Bacica Jr. as chief executive officer. Bacica replaces William (Bick) Jones, interim CEO at PEAK. Bob Traina and Larry Green continue as senior advisors to Bacica and the PEAK board of directors and remain significant shareholders.

“After a thorough and thoughtful search process, we are excited to have Brian join us as CEO,” says Traina, co-chair of the board. “In addition to his extensive background in hospitality and event management, Brian’s track-record leading service organizations makes him an ideal fit to move the company forward. We are looking forward to having Brian join the PEAK Event team.”

Bacica is an experienced leader in the food service industry. He joined Universal Studios Hollywood in 2002 as director of food operations and rose through the ranks to senior vice president of Food, Retail and Special Events and general manager of Universal CityWalk in 2007 to his most recent position as senior vice president of Resort Food and Beverage Development at the Universal Orlando Resort. Prior to his employment at Universal, Brian managed operations at several nationally recognized food and beverage companies.
