L & A Tent Rentals acquires Big Top Tent Co.

L & A Tent Rentals, Hamilton, N.J., has acquired Big Top Tent Co., Tinton Falls, N.J. Founded by Tom Soffel in 1986, Big Top Tent Co. specializes in providing tenting for large-scale fairs and festivals. “Over the years, L & A Tent Rentals has partnered on several projects with Big Top Tent, and we feel that this is the perfect union of two well-respected event companies as we continue to grow both our inventory and client base within the L & A family,” says Brian Richardson, president, L & A Tent Rentals. “This acquisition gives us the ability to increase our presence in the fair and festival sector, and we look forward to serving Big Top’s customers.” Big Top Tent’s inventory and staff will be relocated from Tinton Falls to L & A’s Hamilton location. In addition, Tom Soffel will remain on as a consultant to ensure a seamless transition.
