PRO EM Party & Event Rentals, Phoenix, Ariz., has signed a global sponsorship agreement with golfer Katie Burnett. PRO EM will support Burnett throughout the 2018 LPGA Tour season as she looks to improve on her solid 2017 campaign.

As part of the agreement with PRO EM, Burnett will wear the PRO EM logo on her left sleeve during all golf-related appearances, beginning with Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic in late January.

“We are thrilled to have Katie join the PRO EM team,” says Brady Castro, president and chief executive officer of PRO EM Party & Event Rentals. “Katie is a very exciting, talented young player and a terrific person. We’re proud that she’ll be representing us as she plays this season on the LPGA Tour, and we are looking forward to supporting and promoting her.”

The agreement marks PRO EM’s first professional athlete sponsorship. The company, however, is very involved in professional and collegiate sports, partnering with and providing event products and/or staffing for the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the LPGA Founders Cup, the KIA Classic, the BMW PGA Championship, the Valero Texas Open, the FedEx St. Jude Classic, the Quicken Loans National, the CareerBuilder Challenge, the USGA, the 2017 NCAA Final Four, MLB teams including the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Chicago Cubs, the San Francisco Giants, the Colorado Rockies and the Oakland A’s as well as Arizona State Sun Devil Athletics.

“I am very excited to be partnering with PRO EM,” Burnett says. “PRO EM is a great company with amazing products for any and all event needs. I have seen firsthand the quality of their products at the LPGA Bank of Hope Founders Cup, KIA Classic and the PGA TOUR’s Waste Management Phoenix Open tournament. I couldn’t be happier to become a part of the PRO EM team.”

Burnett joined the LPGA Tour in 2013 after graduating from the University of South Carolina. While at South Carolina, Burnett was named a 2012 Second-Team All-American and an Honorable Mention selection in 2010. She holds the all-time scoring record for the Gamecocks and was a two-time All-SEC Second Team selection. As a professional, Burnett has two career top ten finishes—a T9 at the LPGA LOTTE Championship Presented by J Golf in 2014 and a T2 at the LOTTE Championship Presented by Hershey in 2016. Her career earnings top $633,900 over 99 events, with 61 cuts made.
