Bliss Productions combines a couple’s contrasting personalities into one tented celebration.

A glam-loving bride and a cattle rancher groom turned to Lindsay Wiggins, owner of Bliss Productions of San Clemente, Calif., to unite their styles for an intimate tented wedding. The results combined elegance with casual, romantic charm for 60 guests at Montage Laguna Beach resort in Laguna Beach, Calif. Wiggins sat down with the bride, Ana, to understand her personality, her likes and the overall mood and vibe that she wanted for her wedding. Ana trusted Wiggins, providing her free rein in the event’s design. “I spoke with Ana quite a bit to see what their personalities are like, what she desired for her wedding, and their overall style, and then Ana trusted me to go for it,” Wiggins says.

Country charm

Forgoing a roof and sidewalls, Wiggins draped the tent frame, installed by Classic Party Rentals, in a sheer fabric that allowed the sun to filter in. “I didn’t want the tent to be overpowering or take away from the look, but I definitely think it structured it nicely,” she says. To achieve the country romance side of the equation, a wood wall was adorned with the bride’s and groom’s initials in florals and a rope lasso. Custom wood escort cards and table numbers added to the cowboy motif, and tables with a concrete appearance provided another anchor point for the space.

Classic elegance

On the glamorous side, chandeliers twinkling in the sunlight were interspersed with hanging floral arrangements. (The florist, Square Root Designs, said it had never before used so many flowers in such a small space.) Rose-colored sashes from Wildflower Linen covered Chiavari chairs. Tabletop linens were provided by La Tavola, and plates and glasses by Casa De Perrin. A performance by country artist Easton Corbin capped off the festivities. “The bride loved it,” said Wiggins, who founded her company seven years ago. “And it was my favorite by far. I loved every moment that I worked with Ana. She is a beautiful human being. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her.”
