TopTec takes tent training program on the road

Tent School, the event industry’s longest running tent installation and safety training program, is receiving an overhaul with a new on-the-road format for 2017. This will be the first time event organizers have offered the training program at an outside location. The first Tent School On the Road session will be held at Rent-E-Quip in Colonial Heights, Va., on March 7-8, 2017.

Tent School was developed to ensure the safety of guests at any large-scale tented event including weddings, festivals, corporate meetings and more. Training includes frame and pole tent installation, emergency planning, advanced staking and anchoring techniques and best practices for tent installation. Beginning in 2017, TopTec will offer customized Tent School programs for event rental companies.
