Classic Party Rentals CEO resigns

Brent Mumford, CEO of Los Angeles-based Classic Party Rentals, resigned from his position on Friday, June 3, 2016, according to a June 6 press release from the company.

The release said that Mumford will pursue other business opportunities. Classic board member Jeffrey Gault will step in as interim CEO as the search for Mumford’s successor is under way.

Classic Party Rentals is a full-service event rental company with 25 U.S. locations. The company serves clients with its china, glassware, flatware, specialty linen, lounge furniture, lighting, heating, flooring, and kitchen and catering equipment. Classic also provides tents and clearspan structures.

Classic offers sales support, product, and event management for more than 200,000 events per year, according to the press release.
