New owners at Vermont Tent Company

As Vermont Tent Company founder John Crabbe Jr. steps down as owner, three veteran employees will take over the reins and company leadership.

Mike Lubas, CEO, Lon Finkelstein, CFO, and Mike Solomon, COO, are now equal partners and will use their years of knowledge and experience at Vermont Tent as new leaders of the company.

Founded by Crabbe in 1975 as Vermont Tent & Catering Services, the South Burlington company grew from “one tent and a few tables and chairs” into a highly regarded event rental provider.

Crabbe will stay on as the business development director during the transition of ownership. “[I] look forward to watching the continued growth and success of Vermont Tent Company,” Crabbe said. “It is in better hands than ever.”
