A notice has been issued by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on behalf of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to anyone interested in submitting comments about existing fire codes and standards and the development of new codes and standards. This effort is part of an initial step in the revision process of proposed NFPA fire codes and standards. Remarks may be sent to Christine Malmgren, membership services specialist, at or by calling +1 651 225 6926.

In the notice, NIST provides a list of all NFPA fire codes and standards open for public comment.
