Marquee Event Group named 2011 Rental Company of the Year by Event Solutions

Marquee Event Group, Austin, Texas, received the 2011 Event Solutions Spotlight Award as Rental Company of the Year on March 1 at Event Solutions’ Annual Expo and Idea Factory.

Marquee was among 10 event rental companies nominated for the award. Marquee followed up its nomination with a social media campaign. Utilizing Facebook, Twitter, and VIP (Very Important Partier) email list connections as well as their websites and blog, Marquee asked colleagues and supporters to vote for them by evaluating a company profile highlighting their most ambitious and successful events of the last year.

Marquee Event Group began in 1985 as a small party rental store and has evolved into a full service event rental company with three divisions: Marquee Rents, Marquee Tents, and Marquee Linens.
