All Occasions Event Rental hosts seminars

All Occasions Event Rental, Cincinnati, Ohio, hosted clients and vendors at a combined open house event and tent education seminar in October under a 12-by-30-meter Losberger clearspan structure tent set up in the company’s parking lot. In addition to showcasing products and networking, All Occasions provided clients with an educational session on tent and permitting requirements in the Cincinnati area.

All Occasions tent and event operations manager Tommy Wilson moderated a discussion about trends in tented events with panelists Biff Gentsch, national sales manager, Aztec Tents; David MacArthur, national sales manager, Losberger US LLC; Steve Ashbrock, Madeira/Indian Hill fire chief; and Robert Hughes, director of special events, All Occasions. Panelists used a slideshow of tent installations to discuss trends toward municipalities requiring engineered tents and how this will affect the event industry.

“I have to confess, I learned more than I knew about county laws and our responsibilities as a wedding and event planner,” says Joyce Smith of Weddings Unlimited of Cincinnati.

The open house and seminar were held in conjunction with the Aztec/Losberger University, attended by 98 tent renters.
