TenCate Outdoor Fabrics has introduced Campshield™, an inherently flame-retardant fabric for group tents. Extremely strong fabric is resistant to scorching, smoldering and sparks, working like a time buffer to provide both extra protection and more time to find a safe refuge if required. It’s also breathable and offers moisture-regulating properties to help create a more pleasant climate inside the tent, especially with large groups. Scouting Nederland, celebrating its centenary this year, will be providing its members with tents made of Campshield as a standard item for group tents; TenCate has also presented Scouting Nederland with a huge teepee, also made of Campshield fabric.
