Online calculator measures carbon footprint of events

The German Convention Bureau and CO₂OL have launched an online calculator that measures the CO₂ emissions generated by events, meetings and conventions. The companies are offering the calculator service to event and meeting planners in order to encourage more eco-friendly event planning. In addition to the calculator, the CO₂OL website offers tips on how to reduce CO₂ emissions on an individual and a company level.
