Cummins Power Generation has expanded its line of rental power systems with a new 1,000 kW Tier 2 rental power unit. The unit is certified to meet EPA Tier 2 emissions standards, and it offers increased running time—30 hours at 75 percent load—for job-site power needs. “Job sites are often crowded with equipment, and at only 30 feet long, this 1,000 kW rental power unit will easily fit where others may not,” says Cummins’ Brian Cleary. “This rental power unit is also about 6,000 pounds lighter than comparable products and can be more easily maneuvered into position.”
