HSS Hire Service Group of Mitcham, Surrey, England, has been bought by Auriga, a U.K. investment firm, and Och-Ziff, a U.S. hedge fund. HSS Hire Service Group was previously owned by global equity firm 3i. The company, which has over 600 equipment and special event rental locations in seven countries, was purchased for approximately $612 million. Chris Davies will remain as CEO of HSS.
