Flameless lighting options

News | | By:

To avoid open flames in a tent, some events use flameless candles and other illuminating alternatives. Event Rentals Unlimited has worked with candle rental company Artevelas, which imports candle vessels from Mexico. “These vessels work well for events because they have the ability to use flameless candles and successfully give the illusion of a true flamed candle,” Kelly Treadway reports. “They’re safe to use on tabletops in tents.”

Pacific Party Canopies has used battery-powered tea lights on table setups at bridal shows to great effect. “I dropped them into partially burned pillar candles, and that looked surprisingly realistic,” Brittany Anderson says.
