All Occasions Party Rental, based in Eighty Four, Pa., staged this gorgeous June wedding under a 50-by-50-foot Anchor Industries Clear Navi-Trac® tent at a private residence in Washington, Pa.

“The bride had a very energetic personality with an eclectic taste,” recalls Whitney Demchak, creative director at All Occasions. “The wedding planner, Tim Komen with TK Event Studio, pulled inspiration from her energy and designed each space to fit the couple and their interests.”

That vision was to create a bright and airy space with a boho feel. Sheer porcelain draping was chosen to enclose the lounge area to help create the airy effect against the clear tent. Crystal chandeliers in various sizes were sprinkled into the lounge area and acted as an anchor point for the florist to create whimsical arrangements filled with luscious greens and pops of color.

“Pearl white velvet lounge furniture was sourced to fill the space with a luxurious plush lounge,” says Demchak. “By utilizing oversized sofas, velvet pouf seats and wooden table accents, we were able to create a comfortable yet on-trend lounge area around the dance floor.”

To create the custom dance floor, the company laid a 20-by-20-foot White Starlight Dance Floor first and then wrapped the floor with a printed, removable vinyl that was designed and printed in-house. “The design was customized to match the bride’s tattoos with whimsical and colorful flowers along with their names and wedding date reading ‘Karli & Nick 06.19.21,’” she says. The wrap was applied on-site during the installation of the event and took approximately 90 minutes to complete.

As with most events, there are always a few design challenges when constructing a tent. “Tented weddings in Pennsylvania are particularly difficult due to unforeseen weather conditions,” explains Demchak. “Our main concern was making the event feel seamless whether you were standing in the tent itself, in the abutting garage for drinks, around the pool for cocktails, or casually outside mingling and taking in the view of the surrounding land. By transforming the areas with draping, cascading rugs and decor elements such as boxwood hedges and branded LED towers, we were able to transition from one space to another effortlessly.”

Sourcing all the materials for such an event was also made easier by the fact that All Occasions has two sister companies—Lendable Linens and Marbella Event Furniture & Décor Rental. Between the three companies, they were able to provide the chandeliers, tables and chairs, draping, linens, flooring, custom dance floor and all the furniture for this event. As Demchak notes, “From the graphic design/production crew for designing the event branding, to the tent specialists who conquer challenging tent installs, to our specialized linen consultants who can source custom fabrics to meet the needs of the event, or our dedicated sales professionals who tirelessly navigate and strategize the entire event from concept to conception, we were able to utilize all the expertise within our different departments and work together as a team.”
