Inspired ski village

For the Ladies’ Audi FIS Ski World Cup races in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in December 2018, RÖDER Group, Büdingen, Germany, and Orgatent, Grosswangen, Switzerland, designed and installed a village of tents directly at the edge of the mountain. Structures included a 9-by-18-meter entrance tent, an 8-by-18-meter tent for the public, a 5-by-30-meter media space, and a 20-by-35-meter VIP/Club tent. Opaque fabrics ensured that the interiors didn’t overheat, while glass facades allowed a perfect view of the action. The project was a submission in the Corporate Tent Rental category of the 2019 International Achievement Awards.
