In memoriam: John Newberry

John Albert Newberry, 90, Quincy, Mich., died April 15, 2026. He was the owner of Canopys R Us in Quincy, which his sons continue to operate.

Newberry is survived by his children, Kevin (Sandra) Newberry, Karol Booher, Kendall “Ken” (Lora Snider) Newberry and Kelli (David Siler) Wheatley; life partner, Rhonda Fargo; brother, Leo Newberry; grandchildren, Kimberly, Eric, Jason, Tess, Autumn, Katrina, Kayla, Jordan and Jessica; and many great-grandchildren.
