Arena Group acquires Aztec Shaffer Sports

Arena Events Group has completed the acquisition of event industry icon Aztec Shaffer Sports based in Houston, Texas.

Aztec Shaffer comprises two businesses, Aztec Events & Tents and Shaffer Sports & Events. Aztec Events is a full-service party rental business that supplies its diversified customer base with a full array of linens, table top items, lounge furniture, dance floors, decor and tenting solutions. Aztec is a business similar to Arena Stuart Rental Company, Arena’s California-based operation.

Shaffer’s historical revenues have primarily come from large scale golf events, supporting in excess of 15 PGA tournaments a year including the Players Championship and the Presidents Cup. Other sports served by Shaffer include motorsports and horse racing.

Spanning four continents, the Arena Group provides special event experiences to its client base through its large inventory of clear span tenting, flooring, tables and chairs, kitchen equipment and HVAC, as well as custom, in-house design and manufacturing capabilities.
