Inspired outdoor seating

Inspired! | August 1, 2020 | By:

When the governor of Illinois announced in May that restaurants in the state could reopen for outside dining if able to meet COVID-19 safety regulations, Blue Peak Tents, Batavia, Ill., was bombarded by phone calls from restaurants looking for tents to cover parking lots and patios. This particular project was for a Naperville, Ill.-based wine bar that was able to access an open lot beside its building. Blue Peak Tents installed a 15-by-20-meter structure tent to accommodate 100 diners. A durable and easy-to-wash Dura-Trac™ floor was installed under the tent, and tables for two or four guests were spaced at least six feet apart on the tent interior. Cafe bistro lighting was hung from the ceiling for extra ambiance. Photo courtesy of Blue Peak Tents.
