Houston Tents & Events (HTE), Houston, has acquired 3 Phase Rentals, Conroe, Texas, a provider of portable power and HVAC services.
Mike Rape, who founded 3 Phase Rentals in 2008, will now lead HTE’s power division along with his son, Carter Rape, who has been named director of power solutions.
“With 3 Phase Rentals joining our family, we’re taking our power and HVAC services to the next level,” said Darren Randle, CERP, HTE chief operating officer. “Mike and his team have been the gold standard in event power for years, and we’re proud to bring their expertise under the HTE umbrella. Whether it’s a high-profile event, a corporate activation or critical emergency response, we’re now better equipped than ever to provide seamless, reliable solutions.”
HTE said the addition of 3 Phase Rentals enhances its ability to support municipalities, corporations and nonprofit organizations with power and climate solutions for major events.
Established as a two-person, family-owned business servicing the temporary power needs of the entertainment industry, 3 Phase Rentals expanded beyond temporary power to offer generators, power distribution, HVAC services, technical labor and preventative equipment maintenance for events, construction sites and emergency response operations.
“3 Phase Rentals has always been about delivering rock-solid power solutions for Houston’s biggest events,” Mike Rape said. “By joining Houston Tents & Events, we’re gaining the resources, reach and momentum to do even more. I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.”
