Event building

ClearSpan’s Fabric House Building creates a covered environment that can be used for applications from town events to concert venues. The building features a peaked roof and overhanging eaves that provide extra outdoor coverage. Sidewalls are available in heights of 12 feet or 20 feet. The unique design, combined with multiple foundation options, ensures that each building can be quickly installed without sacrificing strength or durability. Constructed using an American-made steel frame that has been triple galvanized to resist corrosive environments, the structure comes with a 50-year warranty on the frame and a 20-year warranty on the fabric cover.

Durable thread

PremoBond from Trivantage is a new line of filament-bonded polyester sewing thread that features durability, UV protection and colorfastness. With yarn that’s approximately 30 times stronger than the current industry standard, PremoBond lasts longer, even in harsh weather conditions. Its durability and elasticity allow customers to sew at faster speeds through heavier fabrics with flatter, more uniform seams that don’t pucker. The thread uses a proprietary bonding blend for less breakage and fraying in marine and outdoor markets. Custom-formulated dyes feature colorfastness and UV resistance to resist fade and light degradation.

Full-strength tents

Rainier’s full-strength tents are engineered for high-wind or semi-permanent installations where strength and durability are critical. Common tube lengths are used in a variety of tent sizes, configurations and positions, to simplify parts management and minimize investment. All connectors are welded steel components assembled in state-of-the-art fixtures to ensure accuracy, and are zinc plated to protect against rust.

Distinguished event tents

Aztec Tents’ Timbertrac Collection frame tent system has the appearance of craftsman-style construction, while providing the amenities needed for event-specific applications. The system features an architectural truss beam design, “wood-like” aluminum beams and aesthetic joining plates. New features of the production model include updated engineering, elimination of nearly 50 percent of the bolts needed in the frame assembly, integrated gable end and wall panel options to fully enclose the structure and a pre-engineered portal brace system that eliminates the need for cross cables in the wall area of the tent system. The Graincote™ coating system used to cover the aluminum beams produces a unique look and feel. Engineered for ASCE 7-10 115 mph wind speeds, the systems are available in 20-, 30-, and 40-foot widths, and expand lengthwise in 15-foot modules.

Custom fabric structures

Legacy Building Solutions’ fabric buildings combine rigid-frame engineering with the proven benefits of tension fabric membranes. Touting an installation time of up to three times faster than conventional buildings, the structures utilize a durable rigid frame in place of the hollow-tube, open web truss “hoop” framing that is traditionally used. The strength of the structural steel frame provides several engineering advantages, including the ability to easily customize buildings to the exact width, length and height required. In addition to long clearspans, the buildings have straight sidewalls that maximize the useable square footage inside the structure.
