Shelter Structures America, distributor of Shelter temporary clearspan tent structures, has introduced the First Responder product line of clearspan tent structures and inflatable tents.

The inflatable Shelter FR20 from Shelter Structures America.

Due to the market need for medical and screening tent structures, Shelter quickly developed and brought to market the line of inflatable and clearspan tent structures.

The Shelter FR20—the first in the company’s inflatable series, provides immediate space for triage, command centers and testing for first responders, hospitals and healthcare workers. The FR20 is easy to install, low-maintenance and relocatable at a moment’s notice. It is foldable and can store easily on a pallet, on a truck or even in a closet. The product inflates in five minutes and needs to be staked or anchored in place.

The Shelter FR3x3 and FR4x4 are clearspan products based on the G-Series family from Shelter. These are designed for longer-term applications and are anchored with stakes, concrete anchors or blocks. Designed to 115 mph wind load, these small structures may be utilized for checkpoints, quarantine areas and medical offices.

All products are equipped with a fabric door(s) as well as anchoring systems. Accessories such as HVAC, lights, flooring and bunks are available as well.

“We are very excited to introduce our First Responder Series of inflatable and clearspan tents for the first responder markets,” says Keith Krzeminski, executive vice president of Shelter Structures America. “The worldwide introduction will service specific markets that require an immediate need for additional space as well as the longer term need for screening, testing and general safety and security. The FR Series offers a unique solution at an affordable price point.”

The products will be serviced through the company’s manufacturing facility in China as well as its new warehouse in the Los Angeles, Calif., area. The products will be available in the next few weeks as production ramps up, according to a press release from the company.
