Letter to the editor

News | December 1, 2019 | By:

With heavy hearts, we write this letter of recognition. We have recently heard of the passing of Jed Johnson from Anchor Industries. Jed was one of the first professional contacts we made when we entered this business. He will always be known to us as one of the kindest, warmest and most welcoming men we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. When our family started in this industry, we were overwhelmed with all the products and possibilities. Jed steadily became our go-to guy. He always had a solution to our problems and was always willing to go the extra mile, take the time to help, and understand our needs. He always had what we needed and got it to us quickly. When you did business with Jed, you felt like you were doing business with a friend. Whether you were a big fish or a little fish, Jed treated everyone equally, and to a small but growing business it was very much respected and acknowledged on our end. As Thomas Campbell wrote, “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.” Jed’s good nature and kind spirit will live on with the Hank Parker’s team and with the Berardi family.

Warmest regards,
Hank Parker’s Party and Tent Rental
The Berardi Family
