New additions at Rainier Industries

Rainier Industries of Tukwila, Wash., has hired a new creative director and expanded its tent sales team.

Scott Filipiak joins Rainier as creative director. Filipiak has an extensive graphic design and fine arts background with experience that includes working with clients on everything from small advertising campaigns to large scale corporate projects, digital collateral, point of sale displays, store windows, wayfinding, packaging, merchandise and even redesigning retail stores from the ground up. As Rainier’s creative director, Filipiak and his team can make recommendations for an existing design or lead the entire design process to best utilize Rainier’s fabrication capabilities and best suit client needs, while ensuring customer compliance and making sure the design honors brand standards.

Chris Whitesell has joined the Rainier Tent sales team, covering the southeast portion of the United States. Whitesell is a graduate of Wingate University with a degree in business management. He attended Wingate under the Presidential Scholarship along with the American Rental Association’s (ARA) National Scholarship and the ARA of North Carolina Scholarship program for individuals working in the rental industry.

In addition, Rainier has added B & S Sales into the fold as Rainier’s first independent sales representative. Bridget Baresel of B & S will focus on sales in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
