In the tent industry, we all remember getting started and the people we worked with. The rest is like a blur, and 20 years go by like nothing. Danny Frost of Orlando, Fla., who passed away in September 2015 (due to cancer/health) was one of those people. Although he worked for another tent company, he was always there to lend a helping hand. He spent more than 20 years in the tent field, and was the guy who showed up every morning at 6 a.m. or earlier to open the shop and also closed at the end of the day. Most people don’t realize how important it is to have a dedicated person within their company. Thank you for being there, Danny, to help.

Also, Dean Bridenbaker passed away in late August 2015 (due to health reasons) in Rochester, N.Y. He spent close to a decade of service at Hank Parker’s Party and Tent Rentals. He was a safe driver and installer who was always early to work and late to leave. He loved working on the double- and triple-decker tents at Hank Parker’s, and drove the equipment nationwide for us and even into Canada. He’s one of those people who is hard to replace. He will sadly be missed at Hank Parker’s.

This business is full of hard work, sweat and sacrifice. And these were two individuals who put all they had into this industry each day they were here.
