Point-of-Rental™ Systems transitions

target="_blank">Point-of-Rental™ Systems, Grand Prairie, Texas, announced that Bob Shaffer and Steve Husbands have sold their interest in the company to chief technical officer Wayne Harris.

Harris has served as company vice president since 2004 and was recently elected president of the corporation. Shaffer and Husbands will remain on the board, serving as vice president and secretary-treasurer, and will continue working in the company until their retirement in 2012.

As part of the transition, the company has hired Greg Bennett, formerly a district sales manager at the JLG Caterpillar Alliance Group, as vice president of sales. Mark Jordan, formerly special events operation manager with A Classic Party Rental, was hired as western regional sales manager. Additional new support staff include Lynne Law, formerly of event rental operation PRO EM, and Jim Barry.
