New CEO and partnership for Classic Party Rentals

John C. Campanelli, president and CEO of Los Angeles-based rental company Classic Party Rentals, resigned September 10. Pedro Mata, who is on the board of Quad C, which owns Classic, will be acting CEO.

Classic Party Rentals, under the leadership of Campanelli, led an aggressive expansion initiative for the company, including a recent partnership with Chameleon Chairs LLC, dba Chameleon Chair®Collection.

Under the new partnership, Classic assumes management and operations of Chameleon’s rental business throughout the United States, including Southern California and Las Vegas. Chameleon continues to operate as an independent company, with its primary focus on design, manufacture and sale of its proprietary line of products, however, Chameleon will cease direct rental activities. Per the agreement, Classic Party Rentals will retain exclusive rights to rent Chameleon Chair products in each of its markets.
