A tent and stage being prepared for a concert that was to feature Peter Frampton and the group Yes collapsed on July 7 when a storm produced a sudden downburst with winds over 50 miles per hour, according the National Weather Service.

About 15 crew members preparing for the show at the Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Okla., were in the tent at the time. Six suffered non-life-threatening injuries according to The Oklahoman, including tent installer Andrew Wine, whose leg was broken.

David Beerley, marketing and promotions manager for PM Productions, told the newspaper that prior to the collapse, the crew noticed that the rain was getting heavier and the wind had started gusting, but that the poles were holding.

“And then literally, in an instant, this downshear came and it went down to the ground,” Beerley said.
