Nonprofit association accepts donated rental materials

The National Association for the Exchange of Industrial Resources (NAEIR), Galesburg, Ill., is a nonprofit association that accepts donated materials and distributes them to schools and other nonprofits around the U.S. The NAEIR says that tents and party rental items are among the many kinds of products that the organization accepts.

Under IRS Tax Code Section 170 (e)(3), companies making contributions could receive an above-cost income tax deduction that could be worth up to twice the cost of the donated goods.
