Chicago Party Rental wins TRD Award of Excellence

George P. Johnson, a large event planning firm, hired Chicago Party Rental, Chicago, Ill., U.S.A., in June 2006 to provide more than 75,000 square feet of tents and structures for the annual Lexus dealers’ conference. Around 1,250 guests attended the conference and enjoyed entertainment from notables such as Joan Rivers, Chicago, James Taylor and Sheryl Crow. Chicago Party Rental had to keep to a strict timeline due to the $25,000 rental fee of the Buckingham Fountain area at Grant Park in Chicago. In addition to battling with limited access to the site, Chicago Party Rental had to deal with hail and heavy rains that led to flooding of the site two days before the event. The total installation and removal time for the project was 13 days.

Attendees at the Tent Expo 2007 voted for their favorite projects in the Tent Rental Division Award of Excellence program, and Chicago Party Rental won the party tent rental award for this project.
