Celina Tent Inc. is building a 100,000-square-foot distribution center adjacent to its headquarters in Celina, Ohio. The new building will be nearly twice as large as Celina’s current warehouse facility in nearby Coldwater, Ohio, and will include high bay storage areas upward of 43 feet tall for additional vertical storage. By building a warehouse with a closer proximity to manufacturing, Celina plans to increase efficiency and decrease lead times for customers. “Celina will now be able to provide value-added services to our customers, including kitting, custom packaging and private labeling,” says Celina Tent president Jeff Grieshop. “Currently our on-time delivery rate is over 98 percent. The improved warehouse layout and technology will be our next step in achieving 100 percent on-time delivery.” The new facility is expected to be complete in fall 2017.
