John Lee, who along with his son Jason founded J J L Events Inc. of Toronto, Ont., Canada, passed away on Oct. 14.
A reception for family and friends who knew him through his notable career in the tensile structure industry (Pike’s Awnings Inc.; Pioneer Tent, Awning and Sign; Fiesta Tents Ltd.; IFAI; and J J L Events) will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 10 Carson Court, Brampton, Ont. Stories and thoughts about John are welcome.
The family has designated the Heart and Stroke Foundation for memorial contributions.
