Aztec Tents celebrates 50th anniversary

Aztec Tents, the Torrance, Calif.-based manufacturer of tents, canopies and semi-permanent fabric structures, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Current president of Aztec Tents, Chuck Miller, said the company is thankful to have reached such a significant milestone.

Originally founded as Aztec Rentals, the company began as a small general rental store. As it grew, the company’s primary focus was the expansion of its party rental operations.

In the 1980s, Aztec expanded its line of products. During the 1990s, Aztec added to its contributions to the tenting industry with the manufacturing of its contemporary Clear-Span tents and Legend Series tension tents, which were expandable in both length and width.

Aztec Tents produces tents and structures for rental companies, hotels, country clubs, caterers, award shows, governments and other custom event locations.
