Online tool allows anyone to submit code change proposals and enables collaboration.

The International Code Council (ICC) has launched a new cloud-based tool, cdpACCESS™, with the goal of increasing participation and collaboration in the ICC’s code development process (cdp).

The tool allows anyone to create code change proposals and public comments and store them in the cloud for easy access and submission. Users can also invite colleagues to view, comment and collaborate on proposals or comments.

“The ultimate goal is to provide a superior way to develop codes and increase participation in code development,” says ICC CEO Dominic Sims, CBO.

Features include:

  • Online collaboration with one or more colleagues
  • Online submittal of floor modifications at the Committee Action Hearing
  • Online creation and submittal of public comments to the Committee Action Hearing results

The tool also allows users to view, download and print the Code Change agenda; the report of the Committee Action Hearing and the Public Comment agenda.
